Abstract

A new concept combining offshore floating wind turbine with aquaculture cage is proposed, which is called the new offshore fishery and Dot Matrix Floating integration system (DMF). In order to determine the safety and hydrodynamic operation adaptability of the new DMF overall structure system, this study is carried out from three aspects: structural strength reliability analysis, hydrodynamic response numerical simulation and small-scale prototype flume experimental test. Firstly, a multi wind turbine wake model was established, and based on fluid structure coupling simulation, the variation law of multi wind load wake in the DMF structure was obtained. Then, by comparing the results of wave current pool experiments and hydrodynamic simulations, the rationality of the hydrodynamic response of the DMF structure was verified. Furthermore, by analyzing the hydrodynamic response laws of DMF under different mooring methods, the optimal solution suitable for multi wind turbine integrated structures was obtained. Finally, through finite element strength calculation, it was determined that the overall structural stress meets safety requirements. Finally, through the use of DMF and finite element numerical simulation methods, hydrodynamic simulations were conducted. By establishing an integrated analysis approach of aerodynamics, hydrodynamics, and structure for multiple wind turbines, guidance and reference are provided for the study of key mechanical issues in new floating equipment.
